Desert Song Studio is the creative practice of Albuquerque artist, metalsmith, writer, and educator Katie Joy. Through jewelry, photography, field notes, and stories rooted in the Southwest, she explores beauty, belonging, resilience, and the relationship between people and place.

Her jewelry is hand-forged in Albuquerque, New Mexico using reclaimed silver, precious and semi-precious stones, and cast organic forms inspired by desert flora, weathered stone, and the traces left by time.
